Sevastopol "legislator" received an order from Putin for participation in the war against Ukraine

Russian dictator Vladimir Putin awarded the Order of Courage to “Deputy Chairman of the Legislative Assembly of Sevastopol” Vasily Zubienko for “courage, bravery, and selflessness shown while performing military duty in the special operation zone*.” The award was presented to his “colleague” by “Governor of Sevastopol” Mikhail Razvozhaev. 

A native of the Tula region, Vasily Zubienko, who holds the military rank of lieutenant colonel and the status of a combat veteran, currently heads the Sevastopol “regional branch” of the all-Russian public organization of veterans “Combat Brotherhood.” In 2023–2024, he voluntarily participated in the war against Ukraine as part of the Russian GROM “Cascade” drone brigade.
